About Dustin & family
I am a Black and Silver Miniature Schnauzer born at the Hassanhill’s kennel in Gävle, Sweden on Jan. 20 2002. Hassanhill’s is the leading B/S kennel in Sweden and has champions all over Europe, but most importantly, they make dogs with super temperament.

I am, of course, always the center of attention, both with my humans and with other dogs and animals. As most Miniature Schnauzers, I am smart, beautiful, playful, a bit dominant (if anyone lets me), great with kids and eager to learn new tricks and manners.

I spend most of my day playing with my human kids and with our cats. Yes we have 4 !!!! cats in our house.
When I first moved in as a puppy, they all bullied me, but now, when I am full grown (34,3 cm or 13.5 inches), I have shown them all, who the Boss is. As long as they realize that I am the leader, I love to play with them.
My only problem is when they gang up on me. My other favorite things to do is eating and sleeping.

I am ALWAYS with my family. If they go camping, shopping, driving, fishing, sailing, golfing or whatever, I am always part of the pack. I suspect that they cannot live without me ;-). In order to make them all feel loved I have made the sacrifice to sleep in their bed and of course take turn with all of them.

My humans are Danish, but live in Blekinge, Sweden. We live in a hundred year old big house at the beautiful Archipelago near Karlskrona. I have a big fenced (to keep other dogs and cats out I guess) garden, where I am King. I even have my own stream through the garden, so I kind of got my own swimming pool and wet bar (I just wish I could catch one of those fish one day. We only have one neighbor (who of course have fallen for my charm as well), so when I fell like barking at the cats, no one mind too much. Actually, me, my human dad and the kids have decided that we easily have room for at least 4 Miniature Schnauzers, but we are still working on the mother of the house. I think it would only be fair to even the odds a little against the cats.

I have started my show career (pretty good if I have to say it myself) and I have also taken my human mother to obedience training, so she can learn how to do the things I want. She is doing quite well. As my coat needs professional attention for the shows, she has also started to take lessons in professional grooming.

The whole family have taken a great interest in following me to dog shows, so we even bought a caravan, so now we are ready to travel all over Europe to Shows.
