Showresults

The summer 2002 I have started my show career. After all,
I have a lot to live up to. If you check my Pedigree,
you can see why. I can get a little cold sweat,
I got a lot to live up to.

The first 4 shows was in puppy class, where both me
and my humans had to learn the ropes.

We did not expect any special results, but just to get an idea
of how to behave in the show ring.

Hmm…What a concept. Just imagine, taking me,
a wild playful puppy full of energy and curiosity,
to a small space FILLED with other puppies, big dogs, tons of humans and thousand of things to explore with great smells!!!!!.

And then they all expect me to just ignore all that fun and pretend I don’t care. Just stand still or run calmly around in the show ring. Yeah right, not this puppy.
I jumped, turned, ran, flirted etc., but hey, to my luck, people are not that serious as long as it is the puppy class, so I actually did much better that anyone expected. Check my results above to see how I did. It is hard to describe how proud my humans are of me, but let me just say that now we have almost any grooming accessory available + my humans are studying grooming techniques, show techniques, bloodlines etc. We have even bought a nice caravan and will now start going to other countries to see if they are smart enough to spot a winner when they see one ;-))
It gets a bit more serious as I am a Junior now, so we will see if the judges know what the are doing.
Actually I would encourage all Schnauzers to convince their humans to try going to a dog show. It is a load of fun, especially for the humans.
Above you can choose Calendar to see where I expect to participate. It would be great to see you there.
We will also try to give you a sneak peak into our Rookie Experience, and hope to give you a taste of how much fun (and work) it is
